Lindsay Orenstein
National Managing Director
Lindsay holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Kean University. She began her career in the legal industry as a court stenographer, and in 2015, she transitioned into the staffing industry. With many years of staffing experience under her belt, Lindsay joined TBG in August of 2020 as Practice Director of the Legal division. Currently, she is the National Managing Director of Legal, where the team specializes in the placement of all legal staff, attorneys, contract attorneys and contract paralegals with law firms and in-house at every level. We are here to cater to your firm/organizations needs and welcome the opportunity to assist you with little to no notice. We offer a 24-48 hour turnaround and pride ourselves on our ability to go above and beyond for our clients and candidates. Lindsay thrives on connecting with others, which is evident in her enriched professional relationships. With her admirable drive and dedication, Lindsay developed the Legal team from a one-woman show into an extraordinary powerhouse team of nearly 10 dedicated individuals.
Ronni Deserto, Esq.
Director
Ronni has over a decade of experience as an attorney working both for law firms and in-house. As an experienced attorney she brings her legal expertise to both her clients and candidates. She specializes in both law firm and in house placements at all levels, and partners with her clients to build out their legal team identifying top talent for their needs. She serves as an advisor on the legal industry, compensation, and overall talent strategy. Ronni has a high level of understanding of the legal space which has helped allow TBG Legal to separate themselves in the legal recruiting landscape. Ronni holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Bucknell University, and her Juris Doctor from Hofstra University School of Law.
Ross Pendowski, JD
Director
Ross holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Arizona State University and a Juris Doctor from Thomas Jefferson School of Law. In 2019, Ross transitioned his legal career to the staffing industry, specializing in permanent and contract placements of attorneys and legal staff at all levels. He has found a passion in partnering with AmLaw 100 firms and Fortune 500 companies, nationwide. With his subject matter expertise and experience in the legal staffing industry, Ross prides himself on providing the very best legal talent and support to his clients. As a Director at TBG Legal, Ross and his expert team members look to grow the TBG brand to new heights.
Sheree Donath, Esq.
Legal Recruiter
Sheree has been a practicing employment attorney for over 20 years. In this role she counsels and guides individuals in their career transitions and understands the process, documents, complexities, concerns and emotions involved in making job changes. In joining TBG Legal, Sheree utilizes her knowledge of the employment relation and the legal landscape to assist candidates who are searching for their next new adventure or the job of their dreams! She is conscientious, compassionate, attentive, caring and will hold your hand through the process. She understands that each person’s situation is unique and should be supported. Sheree brings her legal experience to TBG to help candidates and clients achieve their goals and obtain the best and most fitting placements. Sheree graduated from Binghamton University and got her Juris Doctorate from Cardozo School of Law.
Binela Brbutovic
Associate Practice Director
Binela graduated from Towson University with a Bachelors in Exercise Science. She joined the TBG team after college and has been with us for four years and is an associate director. She joined the TBG Legal team and loves the team environment and relationships she has created here. She loves that there is connected with people across all departments. Binela is very excited to grow with the TBG Legal Team.
McKenzie Anderson
Associate Director
McKenzie Anderson, Associate Director, has been deemed a “Rookie All-Star” after beginning her recruiting career in 2021. She describes her recruiting style as consultative, authentic, and client-focused. McKenzie takes great pride in her ability to build lasting relationships with clients and candidates. She brings experience staffing for temporary and permanent roles within Legal and Corporate Services. McKenzie is a graduate of the College of Charleston and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Opera Performance. She is based in the NYC office and is excited to continue developing her career with the TBG Legal team!
Nicholas Circelli
Senior Associate
Nicholas graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication. Nick was a marketing intern for a boutique firm for a year after his college career. Nicholas then joined TBG and has been recruiting for just over one year and is a happy addition to the TBG Legal team as a Sourcing Strategist. Nick says he loves how collaborative we are and our team oriented culture. He looks forward to be a part of the growth of TBG Legal.
Donna Lebowitz, Esq.
Legal Recruitment Consultant
With over 30 years of industry experience, Donna Lebowitz is an executive recruiter who specializes in the legal sector. Donna moved into recruiting after a successful career as a trial attorney handling cases from initial investigation and discovery compliance through verdict and post-trial issues. She has worked in a variety of legal settings, including small, mid-size and large law firms.
Recruiting was a natural next step in Donna’s career after spending years advocating in the courtroom. Throughout her impressive legal career, Donna has developed industry experience and contacts on both the east and west coast. She enjoys connecting with candidates, and utilizes her analytical and communication skills to assist clients in sourcing partner and associate law firm candidates, as well as growing in-house legal teams.
Alexis Lofton
Senior Associate
Alexis joined TBG has a Senior Associate in the Legal Division. Alexis is a seasoned recruiter working to deliver quality candidates to her clients. Throughout her career, she has proved her tenacity in finding ideal candidates in a tough market. Before finding her passion in recruiting, Alexis spent several years as a high school special education teacher and working in AmLaw 200 firms. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and a Master’s degree from Louisiana State University at Shreveport. Alexis is thrilled to bring her expertise to the team and looks forward to building internal and external connections. Mickey Penzer has her JD from Fordham School of Law as well as her Bachelors and Masters from Leonard N. Stern School of Business at NYU. She worked in real estate and Not for Profit work before joining TBG in October 2017. In the recruiting space she specializes in Real Estate Finance and Legal Placements. Her previous industry experience gives here insights into her clients and candidates. Her extra secret sauce in addition to her firm’s resources is that she has worked in the industry since her youth.
Mickey Penzer, Esq.
Associate Director
Mickey Penzer has her JD from Fordham School of Law as well as her Bachelors and Masters from Leonard N. Stern School of Business at NYU. She worked in real estate and Not for Profit work before joining TBG in October 2017. In the recruiting space she specializes in Real Estate Finance and Legal Placements. Her previous industry experience gives here insights into her clients and candidates. Her extra secret sauce in addition to her firm’s resources is that she has worked in the industry since her youth.
Sara Luksin
District Director, Atlanta
Sara is the District Director of Atlanta and oversees multiple lines of business, including the Legal Division. Sara is a specialist in the legal market on a National scale and in hiring trends and solutions focused on attorneys and legal support staff, both in-house and at law firms, and on a permanent and/or interim basis.
Throughout her career, Sara has established herself as a top producer and has built top-performing teams. She came to The Bachrach Group with expertise in the job market from working with both clients and candidates and brought an extensive established network with her. Sara consistently stays abreast of developments in her field while optimizing symbiotic hiring relationships to deliver exceptional legal talent and staffing solutions to clients ranging from Fortune 500 organizations to startups, and AmLaw 100 to Boutique Law Firms. Her approach to staffing is centered around creating ideal and strategic matches as she understands the importance of finding the right fit and takes the time to ensure that partnerships are formed organically and with careful consideration. Sara believes in giving each search her full personal attention, recognizing the significance of every position for an organization. She values open communication and provides honest feedback for all parties to make informed decisions regarding hiring and career paths, allowing her to provide exceptional service and deliver positive results. Anthony Fanzo
President
Anthony Fanzo is directly responsible for the management of TBG Staffing. Under Anthony’s leadership, TBG has grown from a boutique NYC agency to a national force, with offices in 14 different markets. TBG has received numerous awards from such organizations as Forbes, Crain’s, Glassdoor, Inc. 5000, and SIA.
Anthony began his career in Executive Search in 1994 with a focus on C-level Finance and Technology roles. Over the next 19 years, Anthony spent his career in leadership roles with Fortune 500 companies in Staffing. In 2013, Anthony joined TBG. Anthony became Chief Operating Officer of the Bachrach Group in 2014, and later became President in 2019.
One of Anthony’s favorite aspects of being President of TBG has been working with good people with strong entrepreneurial work ethics.
Mr. Fanzo holds a BS from Fordham University in Computer Science and is formerly 63, 6, and 7 Licensed.
Amy Costa
Chief People Officer
Amy handles all Internal HR and Employee Relations at TBG. Amy has worked in both staffing and corporate organizations and has experience in building HR departments from the ground up. She has generated and implemented various programs and continues to create new, more efficient protocols in order to streamline processes. Amy is up to date on policies and laws, making compliance a top priority. Amy is constantly exploring ways to better the culture of an organization, and is always there to lend a helping hand and a listening ear to whomever might need advice, encouragement, or just a confidant to open up to.
Amy started her career as a Recruiting Coordinator at a staffing agency in 2011. She previously attended Queens College, where she received her BA in Sociology. She has always been fascinated by and passionate about helping others and studying social behavior, so this degree would have an everlasting impact on her future in HR.
Leina Braga
Marketing Director
With extensive experience in branding, public relations, social media management, and graphic design, Leina enthusiastically drives innovative strategies that support TBG Legal’s National Footprint. Prior to joining TBG, Leina was Head of Business Development and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at Rhodes Associates. Before that, she led the International Recruitment Operation for Concordia College New York in India and Brazil, her home country. Leina holds a BBA, a master’s degree in Business Leadership, and is trained on DEI in the workplace.
